Course Summary

This qualification focuses on performance of a prescribed range of functions within the Floor Covering and Finishing sector, usually within a broad range of related activities involving known routines, methods and procedures, where some discretion and judgement is required in the selection of equipment, services or contingency measures and within known time constraints.

Entry Requirements

Completion of Year 10 or equivalent, SA in maths and English is recommended. You must be employed as an apprentice/trainee in the Floor Covering and Finishing sector and must have signed a Registered Training Contract as an apprentice/trainee to be eligible to undertake training in this course.

LMF30102 Certificate III in Floor Covering and Finishing will take a nominal 4 years full-time to complete.

Location

Training is performed at Workplace Training Pty Ltd’s facility in Wynnum. Students attend the training facility for 3 weeks every year over a period of 3 years.
