Course Summary

This qualification focuses on performance of a prescribed range of functions within the Soft Furnishing sector, involving known routines and procedures and limited accountability for the quality of outcomes.

Entry Requirements

Completion of Year 10 or equivalent is recommended. You must be employed as an apprentice/trainee in the Soft Furnishing sector and must have signed a Registered Training Contract as an apprentice/trainee to be eligible to undertake training in this course.

LMF20702 Certificate II in Soft Furnishing will take a nominal 12 months full-time to complete.

Location

Training is performed at Workplace Training Pty Ltd’s facility in Wynnum. Students attend the training facility for 4 weeks over a period of 12 months.

On successful completion of the Certificate III you can continue to further study, e.g. a Diploma or Advanced Diploma. If continuing on to the Soft Furnishing apprenticeship you may be eligible for Credit, please ask when enrolling.

Course Summary

This qualification focuses on performance of a prescribed range of functions within the Soft Furnishing sector, usually within a broad range of related activities involving known routines, methods and procedures, where some discretion and judgement is required in the selection of equipment, services or contingency measures and within known time constraints.

Entry Requirements

Completion of Year 10 or equivalent, SA in maths and english is recommended. You must be employed as an apprentice/trainee in the Soft Furnishing sector and must have signed a Registered Training Contract as an apprentice/trainee to be eligible to undertake training in this course.
